When Christmas presents?

 Finns celebrate Christmas 24th of December. Christmas begins at noon from the Declaration of Christmas peace. After that there is visiting the graveyard, Christmas meal and presents, Christmas decoration and Christmas songs and Christmas bakery, and in which order there are and what forms and which time they get depends on the family and situation this year. On the other hand in usa Santa claus comes night tine when family is asleep and so they begin celebration as early in the morning as possible, and such brings a lack of wisdom. Instead one ought to celebrate wisely, and in that fractureless morning brings a lot of wisdom (see my text about healthy ways of living, 6th at https://finnishskills.blogspot.com/2015/11/healthy-ways-of-living.html ). And so they could start at noon when the pope gives his urbi et orbi blessing, for the town and for the world.

About paying bills

 If you tend to get much bills and new bills, it maybe helps to think that those sending the payment have a shortage of money, and so paying ghe next even sum in euros or dollars bills a less arguing atmoPhere. So for exxample instead of 17,52 euros, paying 18,00 euros. 

Why to bring flowers

 

In the news it was told of a mass stabbing in Taiwan. In the pictures there were flowers brought to the place. Flowers help in things that are good for handling such things that eere then needed. One is more sensitive, thinking what is needed and what of a dufferent kind, a different approach. Well growing plants help in life's big questions, in getting such similarly positively. 

In remembering it is the ordinary life that is valued, especially wisdom of life followed, that is compared with flowers. So flowers with spikes is not ok, even though rosed are often talked about.

Of valued things being possible

 I have written of skills for a Christmas gnome like life for some 7 years now. Some two years ago I wrote three booklets titled "Wisdom of life for Christmas elves" and something went wrong in that and I was attacked on some spiritual side, some attacking me with a war axe or a sword. But today I came to rise the prices of those booklets to about threefold, and it seemed to help me out of that trouble, since I no longer decided so much too low prices for composing a hymn, or writing about emperor's power, etc. So I just wonder if religious and wise people could similarly gain room to live in, and be valued in an easy everyday way.

Since high skills are for many difficult to estimate who hss high skills and values suited to some task, you have to estimate yourself and divide things done to partsfrom which some that are easy to estimate. If something is difficult to estimate, you would earn less in it but maybe via time much more.

19th of January 2026   In the news there is orthodox bishop accused of using some governmental aid to some poor people's living, maybe his oen living too. When I lived in Savonlinna there was such a problem of skilled, artistic, religious, etc, since others could not recognise right who was skilled and who just mimicked. 

Work worth a lot ought to be paid at least average wage. If one has some fee in it, twice or three times that much people propably can pay if such makes sense. Ten times that much if it is their dream which they want to support. But a hundred times more ought to benefit from some society level wise course in such. 

People doing handiworks maybe look like people who succeed in buing, which means doing it dedicately, which I guess means they are poor. And the righ millionaires etc look unhappy and strained, not succeeding in buying.

2nd of February 2026   One reason for shortage of money is that shopkeepers estimate what each customer well could buy  and choose very positive options, but the money that customer has in mind is the whole month's or week's, and any bigger sum meant for long term goals and basic living. But maybe it would work out to follow shopkeeperd' advices in how to choose artifacts, and own budget, so that via time one would be more sstisfied with the chosen products but woukd not spend more than well possible. 

4th of February 2026   In the news was a picture of someone countibg on offers, but not managing to do it right, and so ended tens of thousands euros depts, which I at least do not know how to correct,except that one should in shop communicate right how much money one has in use to buying in that occasion. 

7th of February 2026   If there is confusion about the incomes of the skilled, when people do not recognise who was skilled and who a liar or an educated not-so-dedicated and so-masterfully-skilled. They ought to be paid average wage or pension plus work related bought things, travel, etc, so that wage would be possible and any bigger income related with work tasks of the so skilled. 

Californian earthquake?

 In the New Year 2018 to 2019, when I lived in Savonlinna, I had often listened to a religious radio station and felt it helping me. In the New Year's eve there was something wrong with the rockets and coloured fires, since those used the oxygen, and some who went out, fainted, and among them an old house service man who had taken care of much of the life there. So I was worried and felt the radio fitting the mood, so that I came to open it first munutes of the New Year, but that was a big mistake, dince the religious tried to help those in trouble. The radio told that the famous big Californian earthquate has begun

 (26.12.2025 from an ordinary size 20meters diameter bomb blast, but there were also nuclear bomb on it's way in an aeroplane, and that was one reason for tryong smaller bombs - * and I wondered was me in lighted window in New Year, so big effect, like i have tried saving the world and writing, being some help kn recovery - I had written 20 years last9 August, (Aug1998 - Aug2018 and thought my writing work to be over) and so I felt careless and got some influence from a Chinese woman who had written 200 years, was it a journalist but careless about NewYear *  - I a moment ago listened to radio souteast, and it came to my mind to add this link here https://composingmelodies.blogspot.com/2024/09/how-to-see-people-as-beautiful.html ) 

 but was much bigger than predicted, big in usa that is. Also seversl cspitals and big cities had been bombed or the bombs were irreversibly on their ways. The radio said, why do you listen, close the radio and try to durvive in ordinary ways without the religious radio. So I closed the radio, put window slightly open and went to sleep. In the next morning I slept late, and when I went out witv my two dogs, the oxygen was stie ll so much lacking that we had to come back. I said to my dogs that they should utinate harmful substancies, so their urinated smelled plastic and metal. Now later I think that an electric heater in ghe middle of the yard with a long electric wire indoors could have lifted the used air away. 

I slept long, days, and was kind of stunned for weeks. I saw no info of ghe eRthquKe or nuclear war. But in maps Copenhagen seemed to have changed place, and some time later again in a new place. Also other major cities may have changed place. But only now years later maps have lacked Californian peninsula or changed it to Mexico.

 The news told that a multimillionaire russian was in trouble from not being able to psy small sums because of economical restrictions to Russians in Finland. It sounded like him trying to explain that one cannot be multimillopnaire if one cannot handle well, aldo economically well smaller sums, smsller entities. 

When I was in my twenties and an university student, one offered option wad forming a company. But in that too uou must have the company"@ busineds runninh well bwfore you can build your life in it.

Of knowing from afar in the Lappland in ghe old times

 There is a tale that in the Lappland, if someone was at home, and another person was on his/her/it's way there but still some kilometers away, and it being important for the traveller to meet them at home. Then to near the outdoor came a feeling of presence or of some animal, knforming those at home about the one travelling in the cold. 

In the old times there was a long distance between houses, and so it was important to be able to rely on tvings going well. And peiple there valued wandering in the nature and westhers, and so the lives were tuned towRd making such life well working, and animals shared the same view to travelling. I guess that it is people being afraid of accidents, making the society working well one reason for such presence.

14th of December 2025   One should remember that ordinary school teaches several subjects, seeking to give civiliced values and skills, and that is what is demanded from adults and school pupils. University studies are not ar all as wide, and so those sre not meant by civiluced views, if those are not primarily sccording to school learning. But in my opinion there wad yoo many years of school.

11th of January 2026    In the 1970's engineering was so elementary that it did not bring good understanding, especially not understanding of how feelings relate to thinking or a good understanding of sone kind. Nowadays such a good understanding seems possible. Each feeling typically has a group of feelings about different things in our understanding, and so one ought to pay attention to what understanding those feelings say to pay attention to, and inyellectually take those notions into accoubt too. Typically there are feelings connected with gull functioning of onrself being possible, demanding certain things, like in sports for example. Then there are feelings connected with lne's picture of ghe world, like what a civiliced society what it beeds. Abd if one is motivsted to the task at hand, feelings show when it runs well or is hindered for example by someone oppising it.

Of Christmas peace

 I looked at some picture of the Finnish town Turku declaring Christmas peace, and wondered, how can one create such, are there many foreigners looking at such. The first thing I noticez were Christmas trees on both sides of the protocol chief on the balcony. If one would like to keep tradition and look magnifient, local plants of that time of the year would be a natural well working somution. And them being transported from some other kind of place, would make them an enduring choice even if some bigger factor like shops for example, if they want to contonue. And for buing it is beyter to reach for ideals, dreams, high quslity,etc would help succeed in buying.

 In a subject that is widely known and liked, many cpuld start blogging by making a few pieces of text and some nice pictures. After thst one would estimate some other things to be nice, and so one could a piece by piece, like a twinding path write a nice blog but in unpredictable ways. Others liking the same subject, would make it a continuing task, kind of positive view to daily life.

Of Sundays

 My parents were for atheism. So my views of Christian things are kind of searching for what is the healthy kind of wise view of each thing. Of Sundays I think that it is good to have one day in a week such that one can do things with high quality and wise atmospheric ways of doing. 

I used to practise aikido and the meeting in Sunday practise was kind of leisurely and serend, allowing each person follow one's own rythm, without square demands, especially since the leaders of that Sunday practice were quite beginners. 

Instead of crimes, a wisely balanced whole

 When Iwasin school in the 1980's i.e. 35-45 years ago, it was the idea that each one would learn basic skills and healthy wisdom of life, and when adked pupils answered that such several wanted sides in life should be defended, for exampme a handiwork hobby possible for each and especially much was music wanted. And it was said that wisdom must be defended even by the force of killing, but that wS just as a balanced way of life, and not ad unwise evil work in handi rafts or in music. Is it that foreigners took such as their own place with killings too, even though such wS not allowed at all, such does not make sense, does not make everybody happy and wise.

Agreeing about goals makes feelings support work for ghose goals. Typically one feels in many ways, each thing bringing feelings, and one ought to wish for a better world, so feelibgs would support work efficiency and a better world.

( When I was a child, a Canadian couple taught our family tp build an iglo, which is a very nice wintery thing. And they taught our mom to cook onion soup withbread, and to make warm sandwhiches. ) 

Warm sandwiches

Pieces of bread meant to be fried, 1-2 slices of tomato upon them, upon that Italian sallad, and topmost cover them by scratched cheese. Frie in an oven and take them away when cheese has melted and gotten some brownish colour, but not fried. Wait before eating since the tomato and the Italian sallad are wet and stay hot quite long. You can eat it like a sandwich or with a fork and a knife. Does not stay good for long, since the Italian sallad gets easily spoiled, for example if stored for the next day.

Arts and making indoors nice

I like music and painting, and such creates it's own fadcination across time. Also objective thinking on a very genersl level like natute or build thkngs, etc, brings into attention materials in handiwork and art, and how to balance such things in a whole. And I liked oldfashioned good sides. And my docs wanted quitemuch food, kind of saw such asone good side at homelife. And I was an admirer of the inclination of thd local emphazis on arts, summer cottages, practical professilns, religiln and nature.

16th of November 2025  If I tjink what is the charm of my pictures of my homes, I guess one ought to mention light brown somewhere, for example light wood. That fits together with grandparents like things, handiworks, green plants, some nice blanket, etc. Yet allows also bright colours kinds of things, etc several choices, among them an interest in making home pleasant.

About finding a hobby

 I found in youtube.com video recommendations a still picture of a teen girl, who had found some strong side of herself in some hpbby. Maybe the older generation said "look, what you have there, that is really fine idea in it, the same with that but not with those, you coukd find some older craft fine there, look you other family members too, such could be interesting craft varying lenghts, from a half an hour a week to almost a day". And so she would have experiencw of finding strong sides connected with likings, but not so much as a full time work.

 In the Facebook news the library of Helsinki informed them having 14 000 books in Christmas subjects, whoch have been in storage, and now nearer Christmas will come to shelves, possible to loan. I do not know why I then have needed to write about Christmas gnomes and elves for seven years now, except that is the demand in English and international.

In the video the calv jumped around but paid attemtion to the walls of tge cattle shelter, which made it clumsier and not as wise as outdoors with attention in the nature.

The patients are quite sleepy, and so the care personnel keeps in mind those few when they woke, was there something wrong with diet or some social classification, and at the backgroup keep in mind some overal view of the situation in the care unit counting all.  In the news it was mentioned pope called Leo. Of the name Leo I have heard that it somehow brings wisdom, kind of mighty and wise, like s religious person. In the Swedish language "le" means "to smile. And in Japanese "O" mesns great or something like that, is it a forefigure? So is Le-O then a person who chooses wanted liked valued things, especially when such is grest wisdom and good quality? 

My cousins Saija and Ohto had a years younger half-sibling Leo, who was my cousin too  but I have seen him only once or so.

30th of October 2025   Of Halloween the orange cucumbers to which is carved a face, do not remind one of anything in life here then, except tgat a hot summer day feels clumsy, kind of red like feelings but so clumsy that there is a danger of accidents and thinking too goes in big clumsy parts and is so postponed til cooler. Do people of the tropics feel so? Generally if life goes well, one is inclined to live so or even better, and so such heat does not seem dangerous for the tropicians.

" 31.10.2022   "   Q23.   I am not sure, but when I thought of what kind of food would suit when in autumn the last leaves are about to drop from the trees, I came to think of the following : big pieces of carrot baked in the oven, squeezed potatoes with some of their transparent liquid too and grilled chicken. Maybe a dessert? 

Another food that comes to my mind is paella, but i have not eaten it so many times in my life, so maybe squeezed meat risotto instead, maybe with "piimä" and small pieces of fresh carrot or the like. 

If one wants fish in the late autumn, my guess would be : fried lax with big pieces of cooked potatoes fried witha little bit oil, and similarly vooked vegetables, among them beans, fried slightly with a little bit of oil or cooked in the oven, and small pieces of fresh carrot or the like.

If late autumn isn't a problem for you, you propably don't need special food for it. Just listen to which kind of foods you need and what you feel like eating and what keeps the mood good and gives enough energy.

 In the news lately has quite often the text of an artivle contradict the picture. There seems to be a need to have forefigures that help to think what and why has domd crime hapoened. Like there already years has been a Buddhist woman accusez of murder and neglect of children, which msybe is to what could anyone be a good forefigure to, and so some have guessed a buddhist, but it is all wrong to accuse a wrong person, wrong end of the spectrum. Generally the demand in the society is toward average, not toward the opposite end. Some news though seem to have judgement explaining ehat and why, if the sentence is 9months (pregnancy) or 18years (children growing up) of jail. Maybe some average can learn from budfhidt literature and the opposite end from the average, or from some betwern their own end and average.

Where is the source of good quality nowadays

 In Finnish history a few famous artists lived around Tuusulanjärvi, "come melt lake", for example Jean Sibelius. His wife wS called Aino Sibelius "the only Sibelius" and thete is a fine picture of a wooden house upon a steep hill for sale as Aino house it is called. 

But as I have travelled by bus in northern Espoo, there is under a steep hill by the bus route a lake that is narrow and long abd brings into my mind the picture of white swans rising slowly to flight along it. Maybe nowadays the Tuusula Helsinki-Vantaa airport brings some influencies to swans.

Puppy videos in the news

18th of October 2025   The news video of 11 englishspringerspaniel puppies throws into the air, what theme ought the puppies names have. In an earlier video the dog breeder introduced the puppies colours and that sounds good choice. The puppies seem to want a position near by but with a sweng of one's own. There was "east", "clover", etc. I guess such is typical for companion dogs, but the amount of own insight depends on the breed and on the individual. 3rd of November 2025   The ones watching puppy live video were asked if some would like to draw puppies, and there was a nice drawing, which seemed to like and admire such dog breed. The liking brought to mind Canadan style. 

22th of November 2025   Some days ago I was in a bus through Karakallio here in Espoo, when I saw a dog maybe of the same species as the puppies in yle news live video, and maybe with the name Maili ("mile"), like their other adult dog, enter an aparment house near the road. 

First snow in the Finnish Lappland this year

 Today news told of first snow in Kilpisjärvi at the upraised hand of the Finnish map. It looked nice, unlike many Lapplandish pictures. Kilpi=shield, järvi=lake  järki=rationality, shielded by good quality rationality, which is a good advice, but it is very north, was it only 100 inhabitants, the area varying between Finnish, Norweigean and Swedish and other nationalitues depending on who wanders there, Finns beibg a compromise but the land too narrow and too tough for it to stay clearly which area is whose.
